Cleaner DNA with a Simple, Rapid System
DNA IQ™ Systemは法医学または親子鑑定で検体となる血液サンプル（またはDNA含有溶液）や残留サンプル（衣類や土）からDNAを効率よく抽出することのできる DNA単離-定量システムです。使用される新しい磁性粒子で、ショートタンデムリピート（STR）解析に使用できるきれいなDNAが単離できます。衣服の染みや液状サンプルなど様々なサンプル種からDNAを抽出でき、データベースサンプル用プロトコール、ケースワークサンプル用プロトコールが用意されています。
DNAの精製からSTR分析までを簡素化・効率化し、スムーズな分析を実現します。
ユニークなDNA IQ™ Resinは、ケースワークにおける残留 サンプル（衣服や土）の場合、比較的多く含まれるPCR阻害剤やその他の不純物を除去するためにデザインされています。親子鑑定やデータベース構築などに必要とされる膨大な数のサンプルを処理する場合、本システムは一定量のDNAを供給してくれます。本システムは口内スワブ、FTA®ペー パー上の凝固血液サンプル、液状血液については分析済みです（DNA IQ™ Spin Basketsは液状血液の分析には不要です）。組織や髪の毛などのサンプルは、DNA IQ™ Lysis Bufferでは十分に破砕できないため、Proteinase K消化による前処理を必要とします。Casework Extraction KitおよびTissue and Hair Extraction Kit (for use with DNA IQ™) にはProteinase Kやその他の試薬が含まれており、ほとんどの組織・毛髪サンプルを破壊し、タンパク質やその他の構成成分をDNAから分離させます。処理したDNAはDNA IQ™ Systemで精製することができます。

Process Difficult Samples
The unique DNA IQ™ Resin eliminates PCR inhibitors and contaminants frequently encountered in casework (e.g., denim, leather and soil). Even bloodstains as small as 0.1µl can be processed and the DNA amplified to give a complete STR profile. To extract stains, just heat your sample in Lysis Buffer for 30 minutes and centrifuge. Add DNA IQ™ Resin, and wash your sample using a magnetic stand. Thirty minutes later, you have purified DNA.
Some samples, such as tissue and hair, require pretreatment with Proteinase K. In addition, extracting DNA can be difficult from substrates such as denim, envelopes, carpet, etc.
The Tissue and Hair Extraction Kit increases DNA yield from challenging casework samples and substrates. The kit uses Proteinase K and other reagents to remove proteins and other components from the DNA, helping to ensure maximal yield and recovery of DNA from casework samples. The DNA then can be purified using the DNA IQ™ System.

Save time by automating the DNA IQ™ System on the Biomek® 4000 (Beckman Coulter), Freedom EVO (Tecan), or MicroLab STAR (Hamilton) liquid handlers. Follow up with DNA quantification, and import the quantitation data into the STR Normalization Manager Software to automate your PCR amplification setup.
Automate your DNA Extraction
Component volumes in the DNA IQ™ System (Cat.# DC6700 and DC6701) may not be sufficient for automating the process on large platforms. However, the components are available for purchase as stand-alone products. Please contact your local representative to discuss required quantities for your platform and workflow and to schedule the required installation and training services.
