本製品は60～600bpに渡る22本のバンドから構成されるマーカーです。60～200bpは20bp間隔、200～500bpは25bp間隔、500～600bpは50bp間隔で均等に配置されています。また、100bpごとのバンドは他のバンドに較べ、約2倍量のフラグメントで構成されているため、指標として確認できます。ラダーは2本鎖DNAで、カルボキシ-x-ローダミン（CXR）で非対称にラベルされています。本マーカーはDNA断片を電気泳動で分離後、様々な蛍光検出装置（Hitachi FMBIO® Fluorescent Imaging SystemやABI PRISM® 310、3100、3100-Avant、Applied Biosystems、3130、3130xl Genetic Analyzerなど）で検出する際に有用です。内部標準用サイズマーカーとして使用し、検出は576nmの励起光を照射し、597nmの蛍光で検出します。
加えて、本製品はPowerPlex® 16 ならびに16 HS Systemで増幅したサンプルをABI PRISM® 3100、3100-Avant、Applied Biosystems、3130、3130xl Genetic Analyzerで解析した場合にvWAローカスで出現する2つのアーティファクト（スプリットピークとn-10）の形成を妨げる添加物を含みます。
