PowerPlex® ESX および ESI Fast Systems はヨーロッパ各国で共有されるDNAプロファイルであるENFSI 推奨に合致しており、D3S1358, D8S1179, D18S51, D21S11, FGA, TH01, vWA, D2S441, D10S1248, D22S1045, D1S1656, D12S391, D2S1338, D16S539, D19S433, SE33 および Amelogeninの同時増幅および検出が可能です。スピードサイクリングテクノロジーにより50分以内の増幅を可能にします。

PowerPlex® ESX 17 Fast System

The PowerPlex® ESX 17 Fast System amplifies the loci recommended by the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) and European DNA Profiling Group (EDNAP) as mini-STRs (<125bp; D2S441, D10S1248 and D22S1045) or midi-STRs (125–185bp; D1S1656 and D12S391).

13658TA-W-2 — 2800M Control DNA (0.5ng) was amplified with the PowerPlex® ESX 17 Fast System for 30 cycles. Amplification products were separated using an Applied Biosystems® 3130 Genetic Analyzer (3kV, 5-second injection).

PowerPlex® ESI 17 Fast System

The PowerPlex® ESI 17 Fast System is designed with six of the original seven European Standard Set (ESS) loci (D3S1358, D18S51, TH01, vWA, D8S1179 and the more common FGA alleles) along with D16S539 and D19S433 as smaller amplicons (<250bp), while the loci recommended by the European Network of Forensic Science Institutes (ENFSI) and European DNA Profiling Group (EDNAP) (D1S1656, D2S441, D10S1248, D12S391 and D22S1045) are present as larger amplicons.

Perform Direct Amplification from a Variety of Sample Types

The PowerPlex® ESI and ESX Fast Systems allow direct amplification from FTA® card punches as well as pretreated nonFTA cards and commonly used swabs to streamline workflow and expand sample throughput.

Blood Sample on FTA® Card

11517MA-W — Direct amplification of one 1.2mm punch from a blood sample on an FTA® card using the PowerPlex® ESI 17 Fast System and the recommended protocol. Amplified products were separated using an Applied Biosystems® 3130xl Genetic Analyzer (3kV, 5-second injection).

Buccal Sample on FTA® Card

11518MA-W — Direct amplification of two 1.2mm punches from a buccal sample on an FTA® card using the PowerPlex® ESI 17 Fast System and the recommended protocol. Amplified products were separated using an Applied Biosystems® 3130xl Genetic Analyzer (3kV, 5-second injection).

Buccal Swab with SwabSolution™ Reagent

11519MA-W — A buccal swab was pretreated with SwabSolution™ Reagent. Following incubation, 2µl of extract was added to the PCR amplification mix and amplified using the PowerPlex® ESI 17 Fast System and the recommended protocol. Amplified products were separated using an Applied Biosystems® 3130xl Genetic Analyzer (3kV, 5-second injection).

Buccal Sample with PunchSolution™ Reagent

11520MA-W — A single 1.2mm punch from a buccal sample collected using a Bode Buccal DNA Collector™ device was pretreated with PunchSolution™ reagent, then amplified using the PowerPlex® ESI 17 Fast System and the recommended protocol. Amplified products were separated using an Applied Biosystems® 3130xl Genetic Analyzer (3kV, 5-second injection).
