Use of Matrix Standards
Proper generation of a spectral calibration file is critical to evaluate multicolor systems. Once generated, the spectral calibration file is applied during sample detection to calculate and compensate for spectral overlap between different fluorescent dye colors.
PowerPlex® 8C Matrix Standards
The PowerPlex® 8C Matrix Standard (Cat.# DG5010) allows the PowerPlex® 35GY and PowerPlex® 18E Systems to be analyzed on the Spectrum and Spectrum Compact CE Systems.
The PowerPlex® 8C Matrix Standard consists of DNA fragments labeled with eight different fluorescent dyes in one tube: FL-8C, JOE-8C, AQA-8C, TMR-8C, CXR-8C,TOM-8C, WEN-8C and CCO-8C.
PowerPlex® 6C Matrix Standards
The PowerPlex® 6C Matrix Standard (Cat.# DG4900) allows the PowerPlex® Fusion 6C System to be analyzed on the Spectrum and Spectrum Compact CE Systems and the Applied Biosystems® 3130, 3130xl, 3500 and 3500xL Genetic Analyzers.
The PowerPlex® 6C Matrix Standard consists of DNA fragments labeled with six different fluorescent dyes in one tube: FL-6C, JOE-6C, TMR-6C, CXR-6C, TOM-6C and WEN.
PowerPlex® 4C Matrix Standards
PowerPlex® 4-Dye Matrix StandardsはPowerPlex® 16、PowerPlex® 16 HS、PowerPlex® ES、PowerPlex® S5、PowerPlex® Y、PowerPlex® CS7, Custom、PowerPlex® 16とES Monoplex Systemsを用いて、ABI PRISM® 310 Genetic AnalyzerかABI PRISM® 377 DNA Sequencer (カタログ番号 DG4640)、ならびにABI PRISM® 3100と3100-AvantまたはApplied Biosystems® 3130、3130xl、3500、3500xL Genetic Analyzers (カタログ番号DG4800)で解析を行う際に使用します。
適正なスペクトラルキャリブレーションファイルの作成はマルチカラーシステムの評価に必須です。PowerPlex® 4-Dye Matrix Standardsは4色の蛍光色素で標識されたマトリクス断片を含みます（Fluorescein、JOE、TMR、CXR.）。一度作成すると、キャリブレーションファイルはPowerPlex®データのコレクションに適用され、異なる蛍光色素間でのオーバーラップの計算と補正を行います。
PowerPlex® Matrix Standards, 3100/3130（カタログ番号DG4650）は製造中止となり、代替品として新しくPowerPlex® 4C Matrix Standard（カタログ番号DG4800）が発売されました。標識されたマトリクス断片は1本のチューブで提供されます。

PowerPlex® 5C Matrix Standards
PowerPlex® 5-Dye Matrix StandardsはPowerPlex® ESX、ESI、18D、21、Y23、Fusion Systemsを用いて、ABI PRISM® 310 Genetic Analyzer (Cat.# DG4600)、ABI PRISM® 3100、3100-Avant、またはApplied Biosystems® 3130、3130xl、3500ならびに3500xL Genetic Analyzers (Cat.# DG4700)で解析を行う際に使用します。
適正なスペクトラルキャリブレーションファイルの作成はマルチカラーシステムの評価に必須です。PowerPlex® 5-Dye Matrix Standardsは5色の蛍光色素で標識されたマトリクス断片を含みます（Fluorescein、JOE、TMR-ET、CXR-ET、CC5）。一度作成すると、キャリブレーションファイルはPowerPlex®データのコレクションに適用され、異なる蛍光色素間でのオーバーラップの計算と補正を行います。
