各抽出物は、主に質量分析装置性能のモニタリングに使用される、トリプシン消化済みペプチド形態として提供されています。また、質量分析におけるタンパク質サンプル前処理の最適化用試験材料として、未消化のインタクト形態も用意されています。
製造工程を厳格に管理することで、抽出物の高い再現性を確保しています。各タンパク質抽出物は、組成およびタンパク質完全性を確認するために LC-MS によりモニタリングされています。

ここに示すアイソバリック標識の例では、ヒト K562 細胞由来の消化済み抽出物を 3 つのアリコートに分け、それぞれ異なる TMT アイソバリック質量タグ試薬（TMT126、TMT127、TMT128）で標識し、10：5：1 の比率で混合しました。質量タグ間の相対定量比は、LTQ Orbitrap Velos Pro™質量分析計を用いて算出しました。その結果、理論値と実測値のタンパク質定量レベルの間に良好な相関が示されました。
