GenePrint® 5C Matrix StandardはGenePrint® 24 Systemを用いて、Applied Biosystems® 3130、3130xl、3500ならびに3500xL Genetic Analyzersで解析を行う際に使用します。
適正なスペクトラルキャリブレーションファイルの作成はマルチカラーシステムの評価に必須です。GenePrint® 5C Matrix Standardは5色の蛍光色素で標識されたマトリクス断片を含みます（Fluorescein、JOE、TMR-ET、CXR-ET、CC5）。一度作成すると、キャリブレーションファイルはデータのコレクションに適用され、異なる蛍光色素間でのオーバーラップの計算と補正を行います。
