Maxwell® 16 Viral Total Nucleic Acid Purification Kitは、Maxwell® 16 Instrumentを使用した、血漿・血清等からウイルスの総核酸（RNAとDNA）を効率的に精製する自動精製キットです。分子微生物やウイルス研究分野で通常使われているサンプルに使用可能です。キットには必要なバッファー・試薬類がすべて含まれ、精製に必要な試薬はカートリッジに分注した状態で提供されます。プロトコールは非常に簡便で、1) Lysis bufferとproteinaseKを混ぜLysis solutionを作成 、2) Lysis solutionとサンプルを混ぜる、 3) 溶解物をカートリッジにいれる、3ステップでウイルス総核酸を約45分で抽出可能です。
