GoTaq® G2: Better Performance for PCR

第二世代のGoTaq®製品である、GoTaq® G2 DNA Polymeraseは製造過程の改良によって、様々な種類のPCRテンプレートを確実に増幅し、再現性と安定性の向上した高い性能を示します。酵素はTaq DNA polymerase全長ですので、5´→3´エクソヌクレアーゼ活性を持ちます。

GoTaq® G2 DNA Polymeraseは、50%グリセロールを含む独自組成の水溶液で、高い増幅能を示す5X Green GoTaq® Reaction Bufferと5X Colorless GoTaq® Reaction Bufferが共に提供されます。どちらのバッファーも7.5mM MgCl2を含みますので、終濃度は1.5mMとなります。5X Green GoTaq® Reaction Bufferには、青と黄色の色素が含まれており、ゲル電気泳動のマーカーとして使えます。どちらのバッファーも比重が高いため、PCR後直接アガロースゲルに添加できます。また、5X Colorless GoTaq® Reaction Bufferは、PCR後精製なしに蛍光や吸光度測定に供する場合に適しています。

Data showing that GoTaq G2 Taq polymerase gives consistent high yields from a variety of amplification targets

GoTaq® G2 DNA Polymerase consistently produces high yields across multiple targets compared to other Taq polymerases. Three different targets were amplified with the GoTaq® G2 DNA Polymerase Green (G) and Colorless (C) buffers or competitor products (T, Q, L1, L2 and R) according to manufacturers’ recommended protocols using 3.3ng of input human DNA.
