ポリクローナル二次抗体は、固定化した抗原を用いた抗体アフィニティー精製でヤギあるいはロバで産生し、アルカリホスファターゼ（AP）酵素をコンジュゲートしています。特に記載のない限り、この製品は1mg/mlの溶液で供されます。
Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L), AP ConjugateとAnti-Rat IgG (H+L), AP Conjugate antibodiesは全てのIgGサブクラスの重鎖、軽鎖に結合します。Anti-Rabbit IgG (Fc), AP Conjugate antibodyはウサギIgGの重鎖と反応しますが、軽鎖とは反応しません。Anti-Human IgG (H+L), AP Conjugate antibodyはヒトIgGの全てのサブクラスの重鎖、軽鎖、その他ヒトの免疫グロブリンの軽鎖と反応します。ウマ、あるいはウシ血清タンパク質とわずかに交差性を示します。あらゆる抗体と同様、あるアプリケーションでは種依存的、抗原依存的な交差反応がみられる場合があります。ウエスタンブロット、ドットブロット、ELISAの場合はまず1:2500の希釈で始めることをおすすめします。二次抗体の至適濃度はアプリケーションに依存し、経験的に決定することが必要です。
