HaloTag® Ligand Building Blockは蛍光標識、アフィニティータグ、固相表面への吸着など様々な機能をもたらします。HaloTag®とリガンドとの共有結合は通常の生理条件下で迅速に形成され、特異性が高く、 実質的に不可逆性です。HaloTag® Fluorescent LigandはHaloTag®が反応するクロロアルカン基を他の化合物や化学基を結合した表面に適用することができ、アプリケーションの可能性が大きく広がります。
The HaloTag® Amine (O4) Ligandは1つのエチレングリコールリピート (O4)の両端にクロロアルカンおよび反応性アミノ基を有します。HaloTag® Amine (04) Ligandは活性化したカルボン酸、ハロゲン化スルホニル、イソシアネートを含む様々なレポーターグループ、タンパク質あるいは核酸の誘導体を結合させることができます（図を参照）。活性化したカルボン酸の例として、スクシンイミジルエステル、STPエステル、酸ハロゲン化物、TFPエステルなどがあります。
HaloTag® Amine (O2) Ligandは1つのエチレングリコールリピート (O2)の両端にクロロアルカンおよび反応性アミノ基を有します。HaloTag® Amine (O2) Ligandは活性化したカルボン酸、ハロゲン化スルホニル、イソシアネートを含む様々なレポーターグループ、タンパク質あるいは核酸の誘導体を結合させることができます。活性化したカルボン酸の例として、スクシンイミジルエステル（図を参照）、STPエステル、酸ハロゲン化物、TFPエステルなどがあります。
HaloTag® Iodoacetamide (O4)はエチレングリコールリピート (O4) の両端にクロロアルカンおよび反応性ヨードアセトアミド基を含みます。HaloTag® Iodoacetamide(O4) Ligandは、小さな有機化合物、ペプチド、タンパク質などスルフヒドリル基を含む分子と迅速に反応させるためにデザインされています（図を参照）。
HaloTag® Succinimidyl Ester (O4) Ligandは3つのエチレングリコールリピート (O4)の両端にクロロアルカンおよび反応性スクシニミジルエステル（SE）基を有しています。HaloTag® Succinimidyl Ester (O4) Ligandは、安定なアミド結合を形成するアミンを含む様々なレポーターグループ、タンパク質あるいは核酸の誘導体を結合させることができます（図を参照）。
HaloTag® Succinimidyl Ester (O2) Ligandは1つのエチレングリコールリピート (O2)の両端にアルキルクロライドおよび反応性スクシニミジルエステル（SE）基を有しています。HaloTag® Succinimidyl Ester (O2) Ligandは、安定なアミド結合を形成するアミンを含む様々なレポーターグループ、タンパク質あるいは核酸の誘導体を結合させることができます（図を参照）。
