インターロイキン-15 (IL-15) は単球、マクロファージ、樹状細胞および上皮細胞など様々な細胞種より分泌されます。 IL-15 はナチュラルキラー (NK) 細胞、ナチュラルキラーT (NKT) 細胞、 CD8+メモリー T細胞の活性化や増殖を促進します。IL-2 とは異なり、 IL-15 は CD4+ 制御性 T 細胞 (Treg) には影響を及ぼさず、活性化誘導型細胞死 (AICD) も誘導しません。
IL-15 Bioassay は STAT-5 応答配列を利用して IL-15 による刺激や阻害を測定するためにデザインされた細胞ベース発光アッセイです。IL-15 Bioassay には "thaw-and-use" の簡単フォーマットで使用できる凍結保存細胞が含まれており、細胞を融解した後、細胞を増やすことなくそのままアッセイに使用することができます。 IL-15 Bioassay には 融解して、増殖、バンキングが許容された凍結保存細胞を含む長期使用のための Cell Propagation Model (CPM) フォーマットもご利用いただけます。

The IL-15 Bioassay Cells included are provided in a thaw-and-use format as cryopreserved cells that can be thawed, plated and used in an assay without the need for cell propagation.
The IL-15 Bioassay is also available in a Cell Propagation Model (CPM) format, as cryopreserved cells, that can be thawed, propagated and banked for long-term use (Cat.# J2962).

Assay Performance Data
Accuracy and Precision are critical to bioassays and the development of biologics. The IL-15 Bioassay is both accurate and precise. Accuracy is a measure of how close results are to a target or reference value. Precision is a measure of repeatability. This assay was developed and prequalified according to ICH guidelines for accuracy and precision, giving it the performance characteristics required for many applications of a bioassay used for antibody drug discovery research and development.
Accuracy: Measure of ability to replicate a reference or "target" value.
IntraLab Precision: Measure of repeatability from multiple assays of the same homogeneous sample under the same operating conditions over a short time (same analyst; same lab; same day).
Intermediate Precision: Measure of repeatability of multiple assays of the same homogeneous sample with different analysts or equipment or on different days.
Linearity: Ability of your assay to provide measured values that are proportional to the concentration of the sample.

| A 50–200% theoretical potency series of recombinant human IL-15 was analyzed in triplicate in three independent experiments performed on three days by two analysts (for a total of six independent experiments). Bio-Glo™ Reagent was added and luminescence quantified using the GloMax® Discover System. Data were analyzed and relative potencies calculated after parallelism determination using JMP® software. Data were generated using thaw-and-use cells. | ||
