QuantiFluor® ssDNA System

QuantiFluor® ssDNA System は溶液中に含まれる少量の 1本鎖 DNA (ssDNA) を高感度に定量できる蛍光色素を含みます。ssDNA の検出や定量は、 ssDNA ウイルスの研究、部位特異的変異導入のための合成 ssDNA プローブの定量、1本鎖 cDNA の分析あるいは DNA メチル化研究で用いるバイサルファイイト処理 DNA の定量など多くの分子生物学研究アプリケーションで有用です。

QuantiFluor® ssDNA System は他法 (1 µg) よりも少量の DNA (200pg) を使用するので、下流のアッセイで使用するサンプルを節約することができます。

Improved Sensitivity vs. Absorbance and Other Fluorescent ssDNA Quantitation Systems

For low-concentration samples, sensitivity of the QuantiFluor® ssDNA System is significantly increased compared to absorbance at 260nm (NanoDrop® method) and Qubit® ssDNA.

The dynamic range of the assay is wider than that of Qubit® ssDNA and equivalent to OliGreen® reagent.

ssDNA Quantitation Sensitivity and Assay Linearity

The QuantiFluor® ssDNA System detects as little as 1ng/ml ssDNA in a 96-well microplate assay (corresponding to 1µl of a 200ng/ml starting sample). Detection limit is defined as greater than three standard deviations above background RFU. Sensitivity is equivalent to Quanti-IT™ OliGreen® reagent.

Easy Setup on Microplate or Single-Tube Fluorometers

The QuantiFluor® ssDNA System includes all the necessary reagents to quickly set up and quantitate single-stranded DNA, and is easy to set up on microplate or single-tube fluorometers. The System is compatible with any fluorometer capable of measuring the appropriate fluorescence excitation and emission spectra. Compatible Promega fluorometers include:
